Chris L asked:
I’m trying to get my school to hold a freecycle-esqe event where everyone brings junk/things they don’t want or use, and gives them away for free to anyone who will use the stuff. The rest would end up going to goodwill. It’s a great idea in my mind, because it emphasizes the reuse part of “reduce, reuse, recycle”. But what could I say that would draw participants to the event? free stuff and getting rid of stuff they don’t want, sure, but anything else?

Depends on the location and if it is inside because it is so cold. Sounds like a great idea to me.
