How/where can I recycle my AICD (pacemaker) when I die?

These things cost $25K. It is the most expensive thing I own. FDA will not allow reuse in the US, so maybe in a 3rd world country. There has to be somebody somewhere that can afford the surgery, but can’t afford the device.
