We have a lot of waste plastic bags and am wondering if I can recycle them to make building bricks. There is one or two companies in my location recycling the same to make fencing poles, but I would like to manufacture huge quantities of hardened brings for building, Road construction etc. By doing this, I will be resolving a very big environmental problem as well as creating jobs and some income.

I would like to know the technology involved and if there is a company involved in what I have in mind and is preparing to either go into partnership with me or help me in setting up such a factory..

It’s well established now both that global warming is a very real international crisis akin to the threat of nuclear holocaust in its end result, and the threat is increasing with every day, and every plane taken by every traveller, and every car taken down the road. .. and every golf course that uses water that spreads fertilizer and pesticide around the near countryside, when the land could be returned to native trees for more oxygen for us all, and for birds to in turn help promote growth of more trees elsewhere.

People travel across the world just to see ‘beautiful nature’ and go hiking amongst the trees in New Zealand - more than the number of people who go there to play golf - so for local tourist opportunities in other countries too, it makes sense to plant more trees, and reduce, reuse and recycle old golf courses.

Save the world! Reclaim your local golf course for nature, the birds, the trees, and oxygen for you and your grandchildren to breath, now!

I am used to being able to see how large the recycle bin is in the bottom of the window in Windows XP. The Vista recycle bin does not show the file size of recycled files, and I can’t seem to be able to change this setting. Could someone please help me?

What would you say to this statement? I don’t know if this really outweighs the benefits if you go through all the trouble. But the point is, you’re trying to limit the amount of waste and conserve resources.

I want to start a recycing program in my city for my Girl Scout Gold Award project. The first big step I want to take is to bring it up at the next home owners’ association meeting. Does anyone know what information I need to present to them for them to consider it, or how I can get this information? Thanks!!

Please add your tips or ideas of things each of us can do to conserve, recycle, or help..
>I pay all my bills online so there is no paper, and no driving all over town.
>No disposible plates, cups, utensils, I take the time to wash the dishes.
I am not a tree hugger, but I beleive we all need to start showing concern on this topic.

I need to know the process by which recycling plants recycle plastic bags. Do they burn them? etc and if they do what kind of fumes harmfull or otherwise are emitted? is it even worth them burning them-in order to not emit those dangerous fumes.
dead can dance, I’m doing a research paper on the recycling process of plastic bags. Jeez!
