I try to either buy food not packaged in these - or to re-use them in any way I can - but its not always possible. The council takes plastic bottles for recycling but not plastic or polystyrene food trays or boxes which seem to just go into land-fill.
Does anyone know of any organisation collecting them either for use or reprocessing/recycling?

I accidentally deleted my recycle bin on windows vista basic. How do I get it back. I have not backed up my files yet. I don’t know what to do. When I did deleted, it told me how to restore it, but I wasn’t paying attention. I thought I was emptying the bin and not deleting it. So please tell me how to get it back. Thanks a million.

I have a lot of office paper that I shred on a monthly basis. Does anyone have any good ideas on what i can reuse/recycle this paper for? Seems like just a waste to keep throwing it out.

I have a chemistry assignment to find recycle plastic number four. I have researched what it is used for, but I cannot find anything in my house. Can somebody give me examples of specific products that use number four plastic?

Thanks,

I just bought new space-saver hangers and have a lot of usable plastic hangers I want to get rid of? Where can I bring them for use or recycle? I live in the Poughkeepsie, NY area.

I buy a lot of t-shirts (mostly from threadless or woot) and they’re usually shipped in plastic bags. They seem to be thicker than normal grocery bags. Does anyone know if/where I should recycle them? If I can’t, does anyone know of anything I could do with them other than throw them out?

I’ve accidentally deleted my entire iTunes library’s music. I know most files end up in the recycle bin, but weirdly they’ve bypassed my recycle bin and ended up in oblivion.

So does anyone know any free software that I can use to retrieve my files?

seriously, get a life and stop trying to scare eveyone into recycling (something that i will never do), IF the world ends by global warming, then it will in a few hundreds years, long after we’re all dead. so stop all the propaganda.

let’s enjoy life and waste earth’s resources while we can.

Before you get rid of our recycled bottles (plastic or glass) do you rinse them out or just get rid of them.
I always clean them, but isn’t that a waste of water.
